Bin sizes for commercial jobs
We carry a full range from mini skips up to large builders’ bins. The right size depends on the waste type and how fast it fills:
Smaller bins (2–4 m³) — tight sites, regular swaps, where access is limited.
Larger bins (6 m³+) — bulky or high-volume waste, fewer swaps.
Mixing heavy waste (concrete, brick, soil) and light waste changes the right call — heavy waste fills weight limits long before it fills space. Ask us and we’ll size it properly.
How commercial hire works
- Tell us the job — waste type, rough volume, site access, and whether it’s one-off or recurring.
- We quote it — bin size, hire length and any swap schedule, all up front.
- We deliver and place it — positioned for your site access.
- We collect or swap — on your schedule. Standard hire is 4 days; extend at $20/day if the job runs longer.
What can and can’t go in
General waste, building and construction waste, timber, metal, cardboard and most bulky items are fine. Some materials carry surcharges or need separating — tyres ($25 each) and mattresses ($80 each) are charged separately. Hazardous materials, liquids, paint and chemicals can’t go in a general skip — call the office and we’ll point you to the right disposal route.
